Furthermore, you’ve also enjoyed the benefits of LOW MAINTENANCE and the LOW COST of using Waters Choice Enzyme System this season. But the fact is, the number of days you have left to use your pool are dwindling.
You’ll soon need to winterize your pool. Keep in mind that if you hire a pool professional to close your pool for the season, he/she may not be familiar with our Enzyme System.
With this said, make sure they do NOT add costly traditional closing chemicals to your pool water, you simply don’t need them! **We are only a phone call away; please have your professional give us a call we’d be happy to share our information and educate them about how our Enzyme system works.
What You Need to Do
Instead of hiring a pool professional to close your pool some of you will blow out your own plumbing lines and cover your pool for the winter. It’s important to point out that in cold climates, when closing your pool with Waters Choice Enzymes, you’ll honestly just add 2 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water two weeks prior to closing. If you live in a warm climate and keep your equipment running, simply switch your dose to 1 ounce per 10,000 gallons of water every 6 weeks. Here is a link to our FAQ page on our website.
Some of you may use a mesh cover. In either event, make sure to look at your water in March to see if the water is beginning to turn green. If it is, add chlorine keeping in mind that you don't add enzymes until you are ready to take the cover off and open your pool. (This will make pool opening process much easier.)
**If you’ve just started using Waters Choice Enzyme System over the last two months, make sure to add chlorine at the time of closing.
Pure Enzymes for Pools Monthly Application
If you’re using our Monthly Enzyme product, (formerly called Pool Polish) and your pool is less than 25,000 gallons, use 1 bottle to close your pool. **It’s important not to under estimate the amount of Pure Enzymes for Pools Monthly application you’ll need to close your swimming pool.
