NSF Certification Process

Every Waters Choice product meets NSF/ANSI Standard 50 (products for pools, spas, hot tubs and other recreational water facilities) which means our products are certified safe for use in recreational water. 

Most importantly, our products have been through extensive testing analysis.  Every aspect of our products compliance is thoroughly evaluated before it can earn the NSF certification.

NSF Certification Not a One-Time Event

Another key point is that our NSF certification isn’t a one-time event. It involves regular on-site inspections of our manufacturing facilities and regular re-testing of products on a routine basis to ensure that we meet the same high standards required to maintain certification over time.

If for any reason a product fails to meet one or more certification criteria, NSF will take enforcement actions to protect our customers, including product recall, public notification or de-certification.

Look for the NSF Label

Products that earn NSF certification are said to be “NSF certified” and display the applicable NSF certification mark to show that they have been tested by one of today’s most respected independent product testing organizations.
