It’s Veterans Day! We’re taking this blog post in a little different direction than normal and hope the good people that read our informative Waters Choice blog posts will find it to be as inspiring as we did. 

 

We’re always looking for something unique to share with our customers and an article in SpaRetailer magazine seemed to fit perfectly. Furthermore, the mission of this organization sits well with our own at Waters Choice.

 

Connecting Spa Dealers with U.S. Veterans

 

Good Cause Spas connects spa dealers with United States Veterans.  Believe it or not, when a dealer sells 100 hot tubs, they are automatically qualified to give away a free hot tub through Wish for Our Heros.  Of course, there’s an application process, but once that dealer reaches or gets close to its 100 units per store goal, the process begins and they start looking for a veteran that could benefit from a free hot tub.

 

“…. we believe that the benefits of hydrotherapy are especially true for those who have gone through the rigors of serving in the military,” explains Drew Meng, President, North America Spa. “In addition to helping to bring generations of families together after extended leaves of absence, the benefits of hydrotherapy for stress, recuperation and more can be as close as their backyard with WISH for OUR HEROES”

 

We couldn’t agree more! The article went on to state that in 2017, the second year of the program, 16 hot tubs were donated.  In 2018, 19 hot tubs were donated and 2019’s donations looked even better!  Can you just imagine what 2020’s donations would have been? (Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 hot tub donations had to be deferred.)

 

Connecting With Local Community

 

Being connected to local community and giving back to people in need is an important aspect to the mission of Waters Choice, just as with these particular spa dealers.  We agree that it’s a FANTASTIC opportunity to help veterans who have issues from their service to get back on their feet and live a normal life after they return from service.  In addition to that, we'd LOVE to see our enzyme product go along with those spas.  Our all natural, pure enzyme water treatment would cost less and help them enjoy simple water care that they won't find with traditional chemicals.  Not to mention the fact that they won't have to dump their spa water every month.  Hot tubs that use Waters Choice enzyme products only need to replace their water about ONCE A YEAR.  Yes, once a YEAR.
